Christmas Assembly

Today we were treated to a fantastic nativity assembly which was told through music to the tune of well-known ABBA songs. The assembly was led by Ms Smith’s 4th and 5th class who sang and danced to their hearts content. Take a look at some of the action below:

This same group are at Knockrobin nursing home this afternoon where they will be singing some carols outside for residents to watch out through their windows.

We also had a very special visitor who came at the end of our assembly. We were delighted to welcome the big man from the North in his red suit and white beard who spend some time with us. He told us some funny jokes, chatted with some boys and girls and even sang a song with us before his cheeky elves handed the children their presents. It’s fair to say the Christmas spirit is well and truly alive and well here in Nun’s Cross.
